Great value in general purpose ammo
Been using this stuff since it first came out and steel cased .223 since the mid-90's. It's NOT milspec Lake City or Federal Gold Medal or Remington or Hornady.. it's Wolf. If you understand this, you are going to do ok with this ammo. Shoots good, very reliable, accurate enough for general purpose training, plinking, trigger time, etc. Some finicky (not ready for war) guns can have trouble with this ammo, mine do not, I use wolf as a lower/minimum benchmark for reliability testing. Something that has made my experience enjoyable with Wolf ammo is: loading 2-3 5.56 into a 30rd mag FIRST, then the rest with Wolf. The last rounds will help clean out some of the carbon build up in the chamber and give you a noticeable recoil change to let you know its time to change the mag in another trigger pull.... plus a very positive LSBHO. The savings on a few cases of Wolf..offset any, (if any) extra wear issue people think they might have with steel cased ammo. Lastly.. to the reloaders like myself, being steel cased ammo.. its fire and forget, cases with rust and return to the earth.
