The S.L.R.(Slim, Light, Rail) Slant series of handguards were designed to address the two main customer requests regarding our current handguard models. The number one request was to make a thinner handguard so the S.L.R. series of handguards are our slimmest line of handguards. The second most common request was to design a handguard that creates one continuous picatinny rail between the upper receiver and the handguard. The front 4 inches of the S.L.R. Slant Series are quad rails.
