20" Hammer-forged, A2 profile, Chrome-lined Rifle Kit

A complete kit to turn your stripped lower into a 20" rifle.  Kit includes our 20" 5.56 hammer-forged, chrome-lined assembled upper, Palmetto State Armory standard  lower parts kit, and our A2 stock kit.  All components are made in the US.

Barrel:  A proprietary blend of Hammer forged chrome molly vanadium made by FN that is referred to as "Machine Gun Steel" by virtue of its use in FN's M249 and M240 weapons.   The hammer forging process work hardens the steel, making it more durable.  In addition, the chrome process for the bore allows for a lining almost twice as thick as a standard M16 for enhanced durability.  Chambered in 5.56 NATO, with a 1/7 twist, M4 barrel extension, and a Rifle gas system.   A2 style profile is Mil-spec phosphate coated, MP and HP tested.  Barrel is finished off with an F-marked front sight post with sling swivel, and A2 flash hider.

Upper: Forged 7075-T6 A3 AR upper is made to MIL-SPECS and hard coat anodized black for durability. Featuring machined T marks, and a mil-spec finish. These uppers are made for us right here in the USA by a mil-spec manufacturer, and are marked with the Palmetto State Armory logo on the left side, up front, just below the rail.

Bolt: Bolt is made of Mil-spec shot peened Carpenter 158 steel. Gas key is secured with grade 8 fasteners and staked per mil-spec. Bolt carrier is parkerized outside, chrome lined inside, and laser engraved with the Palmetto State Armory logo.

Lower Parts Kit:  All US-made mil-spec grade or better components.  Includes:  hammer, trigger, trigger spring, hammer spring, disconnector, disconnector spring, hammer and trigger pins, safety selector, safety selector detent, safety selector detent spring, takedown and pivot pins, take down and pivot detents, takedown and pivot detent springs, buffer retainer, buffer retainer spring, magazine catch, magazine catch spring, magazine catch button, Bolt catch, bolt catch detent, bolt catch detent spring, bolt catch roll pin, trigger guard, trigger guard roll pin, A2-style grip, grip screw and grip screw washer.  The extra attention to detail on the hammer and trigger surfaces allow for a single-stage combat trigger that has a smooth pull and a clean break

A2 Stock kit:  Made for us to mil-specs by a US company using all US made parts.  Kit includes A2 stock assembly, rifle action spring, rifle buffer, rifle buffer tube, buttcap spacer, and screw.

Each upper is assembled to order with care, and test fired.

Shipping labels are created shortly after orders are placed.  Shipping labels update when the product leaves our facility and are en route to their destination.
