Crafted from high-strength steel, all our gas blocks match the sleek black luster of our barrels, ensuring a seamless integration. Designed specifically for lightweight builds, the gas block features a drilled-through middle profile for optimal weight reduction without compromising strength. Installation is secure and straightforward, the gas block clamps onto the barrel using three Allen keys positioned on the underside of the block. To maintain a secure fit over time, Faxon Firearms strongly recommends using Loc-Tite or a similar thread-locking compound during installation. Given that gas blocks can reach high temperatures during use, selecting the appropriate compound based on your firearm's intended application is essential for optimal performance and reliability.
