Faxon's Gunner profile merges the durability of the government profile with the lightweight and maneuverability of the pencil profile. This design shifts the rifle's balance back towards the shooter's body, minimizing fatigue and making it perfect for extended shooting, training Or hunting sessions. Faxon Firearms barrels represent the pinnacle of value and performance. Manufactured in house in Cincinnati, Ohio, every barrel is fully stress relieved, air gauge tested and 11 deg target crowned to ensure superior accuracy. The quality of our barrels starts from the ground up, using only the best materials, such as certified 4150 Mil Spec steel. Throughout the manufacturing process, each barrel undergoes a comprehensive series of tests at each operation. After finishing in Nitride, every barrel is final inspected for quality. All barrels are also individually checked for headspace using precision PTG gauges, ensuring consistent, reliable performance.
