Faxon's Gunner profile combines the durability of the government profile with the lightweight and maneuverability of the pencil profile, offering an ideal balance of strength and agility. This design shifts the rifle's balance towards the shooter's body, reducing fatigue and enabling extended shooting, training Or hunting sessions without discomfort. Manufactured in house in Cincinnati, Ohio, Faxon barrels are fully stress relieved, air gauge tested and 11 deg target crowned to ensure unparalleled accuracy. From the very beginning of the manufacturing process, quality is embedded into every barrel. We use only certified 416 R Stainless Steel, which is known for its excellent durability and performance. Each barrel undergoes a rigorous testing process at every stage of its creation, from the raw material to the finished product. After being finished in Nitride, the barrels undergo final inspection to ensure their reliability. All barrels are individually checked for headspace with precision PTG gauges, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of performance.
