The Gunner profile combines the best of two high-performance designs the GOVT/SOCOM profile, known for its durability and the pencil profile, which offers lightweight maneuverability. This fusion shifts the rifle's balance toward the shooter's body, reducing fatigue and enhancing comfort, making it ideal for extended sessions of shooting, training or hunting. Manufactured in house in Greater Cincinnati, Ohio, our barrels are fully stress relieved, air gauge tested and 11 deg target crowned to ensure superior accuracy. Every barrel is crafted with the utmost attention to quality from start to finish. Faxon's Match series barrels are made from 416R stainless steel, featuring 5R rifling for increased performance and easier cleaning. Each barrel also comes with a NP3 (nickel Teflon) barrel extension for enhanced dry lubricity and corrosion resistance. Every barrel undergoes rigorous magnetic particle inspection (MPI) in house to ensure unmatched quality and reliability throughout its lifetime. The barrels are Nitride treated for superior durability and are individually checked for headspace with custom hardened PTG gauges, ensuring exceptional fit and performance with every shot.
