PSA Dagger FAQ

It is an LCI. It just doesn’t protrude above the slide surface. It’s not easy to see much of a difference either.

Technically just by nature of it being an external extractor, it CAN be used as an LCI as well. It doesn’t have to stick out to be one. There are some guns where it sticks out by default and fits flush when loaded actually.
There is movement when a round is chambered and it does feel different, even if hard to feel or see. You can get used to it.
But as far as Glocks go, it’s a Gen 3 clone which is pre-LCI. You can just swap in the LCI extractor, plunger buffer thingy, plunger, and spring if you really want the LCI functionality in it. I wouldn’t bother personally.
Just press check, day or night, it always works.

can i put compact x slide on 17 frame

No, the extension on the compact x for the recoil spring will get in the way.
@miamiairsoft49
This was asked further back in this discussion and Matt’s our resident expert on daggers.

It shouldn’t get in the way since it does reciprocate back into the frame when racking/shooting, but I also don’t have one on hand to really test that. Where you WILL run into issues is using a G19L barrel on the 17 frame. You’d need to use an actual 17 Gen 3 barrel.

My 34 is just a 17 frame with an extension bit just like the Compact X slide, and it’s fine. Just my two cents.

Can I add Shadow Systems Firing pin assembly to a PSA Dagger?

@davidpollard98 it should. Also, please dont spam the forum with the same questions. New users cannot start a thread (anti spam feature) right away.

Thanks brother and I wasn’t aware of that stuff had me confused as hell

Ok new to the dagger/glock style pistols is there a detailed picture or step by step of reassembling the slide lock in particular the location of spring in relation to trigger pin. Had to buy a new slide lock lever the spring got captured in the pin recesses.

@mattbbb14 probably has some pictures handy that will help you.

New to the forum, though I’ve been following/buying Palmetto State Armory for years now. I haven’t been able to get a straight answer from customer service, or anywhere else.

I did try searching the forum first. I found nothing helpful.

Do we know, for a fact, that the PSA Dagger SWR slides with ported barrels will be restocked at some point, or are they permanently discontinued? If they’re not discontinued, do we know of any reliable restock cadence for these items?

I understand there were previously some issues where ignorant gun owners paired the ported barrels with incompatible slides, resulting in catastrophic failures. Which could make PSA hesitant to offer any ported barrel configurations for the dagger moving forward.

I’m just really hoping that is not the case.

Welcome to the forums @dc0g :v:

Have not seen them offered lately.

If I’m not mistaken I think @mattbbb14 may have mentioned something about this on FB awhile back
@dc0g

Ported barrels will likely return in the newer SWRv2 slides at some point

I wouldn’t have seen that then. This forum and reddit are the closet things I have to social media. :sweat_smile:

Thanks for letting me know. We don’t have anything more specific than that do we, or a point of contact who might have access to more specific information?
