If you feel that your order is not up to par I apologize for that. We offer the In store pick up option as a cheaper alternative to sending a firearm to a 3rd party FFL where shipping can be expensive regardless of where you are; and to avoid FFL transfer fees for our customers. Like you previously posted, you have an FFL that won’t charge you a transfer fee. I would recommend you use them for future transfers until we can meet your expectations.
If thats their attaude, dont be surprised when the go out of business. When you get too big for your bricthes they fall off.

I ordered an uppers kit and it has been 7 business days and it is still processing. Is PSA dealing with a ton of orders right now and I will just need to be more patient?
Shipping update on JAKL orders from Jamin:
Update on tracking numbers for Complete JAKLs shipped via UPS. If you have a UPS tracking number for a complete JAKL it will not update until UPS scans the package. Due to recent demand we are delivering 6-8 tractor trailer loads per day to the UPS hub. UPS is behind on unloading and scanning the packages. You will get a location update as soon as it is scanned.

…the first order status remains at “review” whereas subsequent orders show as processing or shipped…
Hey so as of today 06/07/2022, what are shipping times realistically looking like? CS says 7-10 for lowers and 15 for uppers just like the site says but in reality does anyone have any anecdotal experiences? Is it taking much longer cuz of Washington? Any other reasons? Thanks!
The holdup right now is UPS. PSA is getting 7 tractor traliers of shipments out the door each day. Those trailers are sitting at the UPS holding lot waiting to be accepted so they can move.
Thanks for the info @GuitarGuy! UPS has been fairly good in my area (it’s been FedEx here in FL that’s the real nightmare). Hopefully once my package starts heading south there won’t be any hiccups, just excited to get my build and enjoy some range time!
What is the average time for ammo to ship? I placed my order 7 days ago.
All orders are taking longer than normal due to a backlog with UPS. If you order says that a label has been created but it hasnt moved to “shipped” that means its sitting in a UPS trailer waiting to be scanned.
My order still says “processing.” I haven’t seen anything regarding a label created. I guess I will just give it more time.

I placed an order over a week ago and it said processing until today where it now says cancelled and I didn’t even get an email telling me why. I understand that there is supply issues and all but I paid in full for the rifle and they didn’t even email me to tell me it was cancelled. I had to look up my order and find it out for myself. I’m not very happy but I don’t know what to do. I put in a message via their email service but haven’t heard back yet. Arrrgg

My order for build kit & ammo was placed after-hours on 6/2.
So, nine business days later I have received a UPS tracking number.
UPS has not yet scanned it. Based on this thread, I expect the scan to happen within a few more days.
I understand having to wait so long for my items to ship because of how busy Palmetto must be right now.
But I have to say, as a first-time Palmetto customer I do not think I’ll be ordering from this company again.
The lack of communication is very poor.
And I have had issues with online order placing, order cancellation and getting refunds on an order cancellation.
Make sure you check your refund after a cancellation because they did not give me a full refund and I had to fight to get it.
I also had to fight to get them to do the right thing when their website wasn’t working properly for my original order.
I don’t like that I have to fight to get this company to do the right thing. And apologies seem to be MIA with most of the people I talk to there.
And I’ve got five emails over five days with zero resonse from customer.service@palmettostatearmory.com and yes, I have checked my spam bin.
I do not feel comfortable recommending Palmetto to friends.
@AnotherTexan So to identify a couple things for you, your order is in UPS’s possession. Its sitting in one of their trailers waiting to be processed. I apologize for the wait as we have been swamped, that is why we put the banner up in May saying orders are delayed and Washington residents are being moved to the front of the line. If you are emailing that account then you will probably not get a response unless you have an open case as no one is looking for your response. If you canceled an order it can take up to 7 business days (sometimes longer if Bank of America) to see the funds show up once the refund is initiated. We are working to fix our shortcomings but we are not amazon. As much as I wish we could have 2 day shipping on everything that is just beyond our scope right now lol.
