UPS is showing a delivery date that is the day I leave for vacation.
I’ve used the email form to request that PSA have my packages re-routed to a friends house.
I have not received a response yet but it’s only been half an hour.
Anyone know if the UPS deliveries for a build kit & ammo are signature-required or if they will simply drop them on my doorstep and walk away?
I cannot find this info on my order details page.
all build kits and ammo I have received from PSA by UPS have not required a signature.
Thanks for that info!
I never got an email reply about my address change-request but this AM I was able to get ahold of someone by phone and they submitted a UPS “Intercept” request for me.
UPS is now re-routing to my buddies house.
Not sure what’s going on with PSA email team. I’ve sent multiple email replies to my original email form issue now and created new email form request and never got a response to any over the last week. I must have angered them somehow.
Ordered 2 magpul stocks 6/10 still shows as processing… Also ordered my 5th dagger the other day and hoping this order isnt going to be delayed as well. :-/
Well today is only 5 business days and its a federal holiday…
Totally spaced that its a federal holiday. Thanks
Placed my order on 6/10 for a bolt carrier and magazine but I’ve not gotten as much as an update unlike most others. Should I give customer support a call? It has been eight business days.
No, because its only been 8 business days. I have an order from the 8th still processing. The big red banner says shipping is slow, and they are priortizing Washington orders.
Anthony, thanks for any help. My order no is (removed order number) confirmed on June 3. Not sure what problem is with shipping. My FFL is Clarksville Gun and Ammo and they receive shipments from PSA frequently.

For those waiting: An order I placed on June 8 shipped June 23. That is not necessarily the time line for everyone, but should give an approximate. That is 11 business days (Juneteenth holiday was June 20).
Ordered my item June, 2. Still “processing” as of June 24. … 15 days and counting…
<sighs
If i had known i would be looking at a week to process followed by undetermined time waiting to ship. I would not have ordered. With the banner, i was expecting maybe an extra 2 to 3 days. The fact that it may take up to a week to cancel should be more clear and upfront. I am pretty irritated.
I will probably not buy from psa again, and may have to request a cancellation and refund, if i can get in touch with them. I have a small window of free time during my lunch break to call. Chat has been down and hold times are longer than my break.
If anyones wondering, I live in WA and the shipping process went:
Ordered complete upper 6/24
Label created 6/27
UPS pick up 6/29
South Carolina is a 5-6 day ship to WA with UPS ground, + July 4th is a holiday but I should get it July 5/6
I have an order to be picked up at PSA that I made on 6/2. It still says that my order has been approved and waiting for shipping. Now that July 1 has come, how much longer should I expect to wait before it arrives as PSA? Thanks!
Finally able to get through to customer service. 7 days with no change from pending. And they said it could be an additional week before a label gets created. That doesn’t even factor the whole ups delay.
I had to cancel my order. Now i get to wait a week for my refund. Woo hoo. I should have had my ammo by the time i get my refund.
I will probably pass on buying from psa in the future. The customer service was terrible. I made a similar order less than a month ago, no issue so i never had to contact them. The order status page is a joke, and the phone just gives you a message to check online and hangs up. Email inquiry directs you to check order status through automated response. No further options but to cancel or pray. Not gonna wait on the chance it might ship some day, and with no guarantees from psa on shipping times or even a promise of some swag or a discount to make it worth the wait… yeah pass…
It has been noted that UPS has been part of the problem in getting shipments out to customers, this may be because of pressure put on shipping companies by a group of Washington politicians. Apparently, several Senators took it upon themselves to reach out companies who ship firearms and firearm parts and accessories and inquire what they are doing to stop criminals from getting their hands on shipped firearms. It seems that they are trying to slow the transport of firearms. Here is a breakdown of the situation.
I have been having issues with online ordering. I am trying to buy one of the PSAK-47 GF5 variants (this is the only item in the purchase cart). Primarily my issue is that I get the following error message when trying to go from the “FFL Locator” page to the “Payment” page during the ordering process.
“Items in the order cannot be shipped to the specified address. We apologize, an item in your cart is not permitted to ship to your location.”
- I live in CO. (So, possibly something to do with mag restrictions. Though I checked PSA’s FAQ and I am pretty sure its just supposed to ship without the normally included mag. )
- My billing address is set to my home address.
- My Shipping address is set to my home address.
- The FFL is set to a local FFL that is listed as already “on file” with PSA and I have already contacted them to make sure they can receive the order. (There is also a pop up indicator in the “FFL Locator” page that states “The dealer you’ve chosen as your Preferred FFL can receive shipment of all items.”)
I have already tried setting the shipping address to the FFL’s address and I still get the same error.
I have the feeling that I am doing some little dumb thing wrong. However, I cannot determine what it is. Any help regarding this issue would be appreciated.
Your shipping address needs to be the FFL, not your home address.
KS47 Essential Parts Kit - ordered 6/17, shipped 6/24 - rec’d FFL 6/28, picked up 6/30.
Magazines - Ordered 6/20, partial shipped 6/22 - rec’d 6/25. Remainder shipped 6/30 - est. arrive 7/07. (I’m a little bit worried about this in light of the revelations by UPS and a few other carriers)
KS47 barrel and a drop-in Trigger - ordered 6/17, shipped 6/28, est. arrive 7/07 (another one I’m Concerned about - especially as I originally got an estimation of 7/02 arrival - then a few hours later it changed to 5-days later, with both it AND the mag order languishing in the distro-hub 35 miles away from me).
Uppers - 3 in various calibers - ordered 6/24, still processing as of today. (Actually never thought I would be Relieved to see that!)
Things are changing Rapidly - and not all for the Better.
As I said “I have already tried setting the shipping address to the FFL’s address and I still get the same error.”
Though, while the FFL’s address was used the name and phone number was my name and phone number. Could this potentially be the issue? If so, how would I solve it?
