Is the bolt carrier chrome lined?

BEST ANSWER: Probably not because Nickel Boron is much harder than chrome so would seem pointless.
Will this BCG function with a .300 Blackout upper?
Ron P on Apr 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, a 5.56/.223 bolt will work with 300blk being that 300blk is based off the necked up 5.56/.223 case. So bolt, mags and lower are interchangeable, just different barrel.
What is the weight of this BCG?
Joseph H on May 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Not light. Well made and slick, but heavy. I have three at home. I will weigh one. Not recommended for lightweight specialty build. Highly recommended if weight is not an issue.

I have recently purchased a PSA-15 5.56 pistol. Will it fit in my AR pistol?
(just want to make sure it is compatible in a AR pistol setup.)
Thank you.
Tim H on Jul 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The receiver is no different for an AR pistol than for a rifle. What makes the difference in an AR pistol is the manner in which the receiver is originally stocked. That being the case, there are no changes made to either the upper or lower receiver that would require a different BCG than is common for a rifle. That being the case, this BCG will function properly in an AR pistol chambered in 5.56.
Will this work in a DPMS Oracle 5.56?
Huntindad80 on Jul 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Absolutely! Best buying decision I have ever made on a BCG. Quality is excellent, well worth it. I use my old BCG as a backup and this is now my primary. Smooth as butter!

Trying to build AR9 pistol but not finding a BCG for 9mm. I don't suppose this will fit/work?

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between this bcg and the other nib bcg?
Jay K on Jul 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This bcg is made of a carpenter steel vs a standard steel/Alloy most companies use. Carpenter is a company that has a specific process for how they make their steels and they are generally very high quality. I have one of these and I have roughly 15,000 rounds through it so far with no issues.

Well worth it! Saves sooo much time in cleaning and very slick
First time I’ve been able to shoot it today in my PSA 16” pistol length .300 blackout upper and it was well worth every penny. I used 2 BCGs, one being the nickel boron BCG and other being the standard black one included with the upper.

Shooting reloaded 150 grain .300 blackout rounds and with a light coat of CLP on both BCGs, i only shot maybe 10 rounds with the standard BCG and then switched to the nickel boron BCG to shoot around 60-70 rounds. When the time came to clean both of them, the nickel boron cleaned up with a quick wipe down with a patch and was still very slick to the touch. the standard BCG was tougher and needed actual brushing to get the carbon off, you would think I shot 30 times the amount of ammo through the standard BCG after the nickel boron BCG cleaned up so quickly. I wouldn’t use anything else other than the premium nickel boron BCG in any of my builds
Shooting with the nickel boron BCG, standard BCG is on the table
