Where can I get the manufactures recommendations for lubricating this NiB BCG?
Cody W on Jun 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: YouTube. Plenty of videos. My favorite is "How to Oil and Lubricate Your Gun (and how NOT to)"
Do you have this in left handed?
John C on Dec 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Just turn it around backwards and it should work fine for left-handed uppers. Where did you get your left-handed upper?
Is this a full auto bolt?
Donald C on Apr 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, rear under cut is M16 full auto.
Is the bolt carrier chrome lined?
Kevin F on May 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Probably not because Nickel Boron is much harder than chrome so would seem pointless.
Will this BCG function with a .300 Blackout upper?
Ron P on Apr 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, a 5.56/.223 bolt will work with 300blk being that 300blk is based off the necked up 5.56/.223 case. So bolt, mags and lower are interchangeable, just different barrel.
What is the weight of this BCG?
Joseph H on May 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Mine weighs 11.7oz
Full auto bolt?
William Q on Apr 16, 2018

What is the carrier made of? 8620 steel?
KRidge on Aug 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes. the carrier is an AISI 8620 medium strength steel alloy. No need to spend big money on high strength steel on a bolt carrier.

Has anyone shot over 1000 rounds with this? How did it perform? The staking seems poor. Have the bolts ever come loose?
Zeb S on Mar 29, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I've put close to a 1000 round Through my AR with that bolt and had 0 problems. However it does not clean up as nice as some of the more expensive nickel boron bolts.
Will this work on my air soft rifle.😆?
Anthony M on Sep 1, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yeah totally, just don't forget to include the charging handle. It'll work just fine and add a shine to your air soft rifle.
Does it come with a FIRING PIN?
Vaughn S on May 17, 2018
Can anyone tell me what the difference is between this bcg and the other nib bcg?
Jay K on Jul 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This bcg is made of a carpenter steel vs a standard steel/Alloy most companies use. Carpenter is a company that has a specific process for how they make their steels and they are generally very high quality. I have one of these and I have roughly 15,000 rounds through it so far with no issues.
Can i use that to 5.56 semi auto?
Gerry salvador on Dec 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You sure can with nickle boron you can expect smother cycleing and longer life verry good choise
I have recently purchased a PSA-15 5.56 pistol. Will it fit in my AR pistol?
(just want to make sure it is compatible in a AR pistol setup.)
Thank you.
Tim H on Jul 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The receiver is no different for an AR pistol than for a rifle. What makes the difference in an AR pistol is the manner in which the receiver is originally stocked. That being the case, there are no changes made to either the upper or lower receiver that would require a different BCG than is common for a rifle. That being the case, this BCG will function properly in an AR pistol chambered in 5.56.
Will this work in a DPMS Oracle 5.56?
Huntindad80 on Jul 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Absolutely! Best buying decision I have ever made on a BCG. Quality is excellent, well worth it. I use my old BCG as a backup and this is now my primary. Smooth as butter!
Is the firing pin in this?
Joseph R on Apr 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes. .....and its a great BCG! Would highly recommend.
I see that the bolt is listed as a full auto, new to an AR platform, must I fire in full auto?
larry I on Feb 10, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Full auto bolt just means that it is mil-spec. Some manufactures cut the underside rear off the bolt to make it unable to be used for full auto firing. This bolt could be used in a gun that was capable of firing full-auto, provided it was accompanied by full auto trigger group and auto Sear. Unless you have those parts, and a stamp from the government, your gun will NOT fire full auto
Does it work with piston driven actions?
Andy H on Jun 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This BCG will not work with piston system.
I have one of your nickle Boron .223 / 5.56 bcg already for my .223 . Great bcg. Will this bcg work with 300 blackout as well ?
Tim C on Apr 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, any standard 5.56 / .223 BCG will work in your .300 blackout.
Can this work on 224 Valkyrie?
Said S on Dec 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No the bolt face is larger in diameter than a 5.56 bolt. .224 Valkyrie uses a 6.8 cartridge that's necked down to .224. The carrier is the same, however the bolt would not work with .224 Valkyrie.
Is this a semi auto or full auto bcg?
Randy J on Dec 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Full-auto.
semi Auto application ok?
Nathan on Sep 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have this BCG in four AR 15's semi auto's with no firing or cycling issues (about 500 rounds per rifle).
Can this be used with a 223 wylde barrel?
Zion R on Feb 15, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes this BCG can be used with 5.56, 223 Win, and 223 Wylde.
Witch bcg is better? This one or the PSA one? I think the PSA one has a better bolt right?
Jason S on Jan 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: They are essentially the same except one has a logo and the other has a nickel boron coating. The nickel boron has a less porous finish and is easier to clean and maintain.
Trying to build AR9 pistol but not finding a BCG for 9mm. I don't suppose this will fit/work?
V L on Aug 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Will not need a 9mm bcg...there are plenty out there, and they usually cost more than a regular bcg

Premium 5.56 Nickel Boron With Carpenter 158 Bolt
Cycles much smoother than my standard colt carbine. Also much easier to clean. Plan on replacing these in my Palmetto and Stag arms. Waiting for the 308 and 9mm version. Excellent investment.

So far so good zero failures but not a ton of ammo run through yet, but I do have two running in two different guns. Coating has also been holding up very well and cleans up nice. I do clean them up after I shoot but that won’t last forever as I will run them several hundred rounds to really test them out.
