Is this the part that goes pew pew pew? Or am I looking for something different? explain?
nite f on May 30, 2019
BEST ANSWER: If you want your rifle to go "pew pew pew", it must have one of these, along with a barrel and a trigger group.
Do you have this in left handed?
John C on Dec 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Better to turn upside down that will put the ejector on the left side!
Where can I get the manufactures recommendations for lubricating this NiB BCG?
Cody W on Jun 2, 2018

Is this a full auto bolt?
Donald C on Apr 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, rear under cut is M16 full auto.
Is the bolt carrier chrome lined?
Kevin F on May 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Probably not because Nickel Boron is much harder than chrome so would seem pointless.
Will this BCG function with a .300 Blackout upper?
Ron P on Apr 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, a 5.56/.223 bolt will work with 300blk being that 300blk is based off the necked up 5.56/.223 case. So bolt, mags and lower are interchangeable, just different barrel.
What is the weight of this BCG?
Joseph H on May 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Mine weighs 11.7oz
Full auto bolt?
William Q on Apr 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, rear under cut is M16 full auto.
Were is it made ?
Jeremy H on Apr 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Made in the USA.
Can I get this in left hand action?
Jim N on Dec 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Leslie is incorrect. Check out Stag for lefty boom stick things. Black Rain makes a nice lefty NiB BCG. T, RRA, and F1 also make lefty parts(uppers, at the very minimum).
I assume this bolt will also work for .224 Valkyrie builds as well? Thanks,,,,Ed
lonestar on May 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You need the 6.8 SPC bolt and 6.8 magazine for the 224
Has anyone shot over 1000 rounds with this? How did it perform? The staking seems poor. Have the bolts ever come loose?
Zeb S on Mar 29, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The one that I have has performed perfectly, just over 1k through it, will definitely be getting a couple more!Enter
What is the carrier made of? 8620 steel?
KRidge on Aug 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes. the carrier is an AISI 8620 medium strength steel alloy. No need to spend big money on high strength steel on a bolt carrier.

Will this work on my air soft rifle.😆?

Just curious why no Logo?
Joseph G on Feb 27, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Some don't want a logo. Some don't want to risk it wearing and looking janky. I bought this one because if I'm going to fly their flag on my rifle and advertise for them then they should pay royalties every time I win a competition. They don't, so I don't. Works great even without the logo, buy with confidence.
Does it come with a FIRING PIN?
Vaughn S on May 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes. Fully functioning bolt carrier group.
Excellent workmanship, reliable and a breeze to clean.
Just pop it in and ready to go.
Can anyone tell me what the difference is between this bcg and the other nib bcg?
Jay K on Jul 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This bcg is made of a carpenter steel vs a standard steel/Alloy most companies use. Carpenter is a company that has a specific process for how they make their steels and they are generally very high quality. I have one of these and I have roughly 15,000 rounds through it so far with no issues.
Can i use that to 5.56 semi auto?
Gerry salvador on Dec 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You sure can with nickle boron you can expect smother cycleing and longer life verry good choise
Will this work with a 300 AAC Blackout?
Brian S on Aug 19, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes , it does. I have two 300 AAC Blackout rifles with this bolt and they work with no issues.
I see that the bolt is listed as a full auto, new to an AR platform, must I fire in full auto?
Larry on Feb 10, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Full auto bolt just means that it is mil-spec. Some manufactures cut the underside rear off the bolt to make it unable to be used for full auto firing. This bolt could be used in a gun that was capable of firing full-auto, provided it was accompanied by full auto trigger group and auto Sear. Unless you have those parts, and a stamp from the government, your gun will NOT fire full auto
I have recently purchased a PSA-15 5.56 pistol. Will it fit in my AR pistol?
(just want to make sure it is compatible in a AR pistol setup.)
Thank you.
Tim H on Jul 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The receiver is no different for an AR pistol than for a rifle. What makes the difference in an AR pistol is the manner in which the receiver is originally stocked. That being the case, there are no changes made to either the upper or lower receiver that would require a different BCG than is common for a rifle. That being the case, this BCG will function properly in an AR pistol chambered in 5.56.
Will this work in a DPMS Oracle 5.56?
Huntindad80 on Jul 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Absolutely! Best buying decision I have ever made on a BCG. Quality is excellent, well worth it. I use my old BCG as a backup and this is now my primary. Smooth as butter!
Is this bolt usable in a 300 blackout?
Bobby on Jun 13, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, same case just upper part is trimmed to fit the bigger bullet
Is the firing pin in this?
Joseph R on Apr 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes. .....and its a great BCG! Would highly recommend.
Does it work with piston driven actions?
Andy H on Jun 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This BCG will not work with piston system.
I have one of your nickle Boron .223 / 5.56 bcg already for my .223 . Great bcg. Will this bcg work with 300 blackout as well ?
Tim C on Apr 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, any standard 5.56 / .223 BCG will work in your .300 blackout.
Is the bolt staked?
Shwatum on Jun 24, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The bolt is not staked. I believe you are referring to the gas key being staked to the bolt carrier. It is properly staked at palmetto state armory.
Can this work on 224 Valkyrie?
Said S on Dec 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No the bolt face is larger in diameter than a 5.56 bolt. .224 Valkyrie uses a 6.8 cartridge that's necked down to .224. The carrier is the same, however the bolt would not work with .224 Valkyrie.

High end bargin BCG
Put this in a long barrel rifle with a few other upgrades like the nickle coated trigger group, enhanced 1 piece scope mount and bigger latch charging handle and they work as designed.. Hand loaded hollow point 62 grain or core locked 63 grain hand loads are what it is fed..

Good Stuff
I'm not concerned about having any logo as long as it functions, this carrier has cycled hundreds of rounds so far. Great quality and function for a good price, thanks Palmetto !!
