PSA has released a new update on the Jakl 2.0 following feedback from SHOT Show 2025, where many users expressed concerns about the platform no longer using a mil-spec lower. After reviewing that feedback, PSA decided to take the project in a new direction rather than move forward with the Jakl 2.0 in its current form.
The company confirmed that many of the improvements and lessons learned during development will instead be rolled into a future Jakl 1.5. Meanwhile, the Jakl 2.0 is now evolving into a completely new firearm platform, which will be revealed in upcoming videos leading up to SHOT Show.
