The PSA AK-103 "Klone"

Palmetto State Armory has taken the next step in the evolution of its line of AK firearms. Made in America with a 100% Full Lifetime Warranty, the PSA AK-103 'Klone' is set to begin production within the next 90 days.

The American AK market demands an AK that delivers on the classic reputation of the AK for durability while delivering the latest advancements in AK design. The PSA AK-103 'Klone' brings all of that together by boasting a forged carrier, forged bolt and forged front trunnion, an AK-74 style brake, gas block, and front sight base, and boasting a Hammer Forged Chrome Lined AK barrel chambered in 7.62 x 39.

The PSA AK-103 'Klone' will be available with both a side-folding and fixed stock option.

Palmetto State Armory plans to begin production on the PSA AK-103 'Klone' in the next 90 days with several options to come including a premium line that will include the world's only FN Cold Hammer Forged AK barrel in 7.62 X 39 and a 4340 Aircraft Quality Lead Star Hammer Forged front trunnion.

I just bought two of the CA complaint versions that Atlantic sells. While they are the nitrided barrels, I Love them. I will also buy these if Atlantic gets tthem so they can add that shark fin grip to them for us ca boys being enemy lines. Can’t F’king wait! Buying for myself and then my 4 kids is expensive, but worth it because I don’t know if these guns will be available when my kids are old enough.

Will the folding stock mount/mechanism be compatible with most pre-existing stocks, like the typical poly-folder it aims to clone and the triangle stock, or is it a proprietary system?

The side-folder on the AK103 will be the same side-folder used on our current PSA AK models with side-folding stocks. Our PSA classic poly and metal triangle side-folders are interchangeable.

Omg this is so cool. I just emailed them to see when I can get my hands on one. I will definitely be getting the premium version. And, now that I have been doing some research I think ill be getting one of their AR's soon as well. Didn't realize they make almost everything in house and have a good reputation. Will be waiting anxiously for the new AK's!

The 103 will have a bayonet lug, and will have M24x1.5RH threads. This will be a permanent member of our line-up.

So why don't you offer the hammer forged Nickel Boron Carrier, hammer forged Nickel Boron bolt and the ALG AKT trigger in the AK-103 clone? IMO it would have made a better premium package than the AK-E

Have been monitoring your AKs for a while and can safely say I am impressed! My personal preference would by the 103 in a MOEKov configuration in OD Green. Are there plans for such a setup or are you going to be strictly adhering to the 'Klone' monikor? Any possibility of an M4 stock? (Can't help it, I am short and I ask because I need a shorter length of pull!)

I'm planning on running my sandman on this once get my hands on this instead of the ak-e, as such I'm going to need to get a thread adapter to fit my flash hider, is there any concern about the barrel, adapter, flash hider and whisper pickle not being concentric?

Unfortunately I missed the first batch of the Ak103. As they are currently out of stock they do not show the prices. What are they? Also when do you think they might come back in stock? Lastly, just out of curiosity, I was wondering how many were made for the first batch. It would just be neat to know when I get one, more or less what number it could be. Thanks, and God bless.

It isn't an easy job, and I would recommend only having a knowledgeable licensed gunsmith do it. You would need a new side-folder rear trunnion along with all other parts like the locking mechanism and release button. The gunsmith would have to do some drilling and cutting on your receiver.

The Croatian mags can be spotty as far as tying fitment to a particular gun. Sometimes they work great, and sometimes they require minor fitment.

Just purchased the 103 premium with fixed red furniture. About how long does shipping take at this time? I almost went for the triangle stock, if I want to change to that later in time will I be able to switch to it? Also if it has a bayonet lug, will bayonets be available?
